About Dr Ting Wen Chang
Dr Ting Wen Chang received his hematology training during a fellowship at the Welsh National School in Cardiff, UK, and a fellowship in bone marrow transplantation at the renowned Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, USA.
Dr Ting Wen Chang was awarded a federal scholarship to study medicine at the University of Malaya and an ASEAN Fellowship in Internal Medicine at the National University of Singapore. He was recognized for 20 years of service to the Blood Service Group (BSG) in addition to volunteering at an inner city community center.
He was instrumental in the development of Singapore’s bone marrow transplant program and was a member of the team that successfully performed the first bone marrow transplant in Singapore in 1985. He is a member of the Hematology Residency Advisory Committee, Joint Committee on Specialist Training, and Board Examiner for the Hematology Exit Examination for the last six years.
