• Underwent Senior Fellowship training in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery in Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, upon receiving the Health Manpower Development Program Award. He was rated top 5% among his 35 years of trainees by Professor Jatin Shah, recognized as the leading head and neck surgeon in the world today.
• Underwent further training in robotic surgery in Korea’s Yonsei Severance Hospital.

• Dr Tay Hin Ngan is an ear, nose, throat (otolaryngology) specialist with clinical interests in thyroid surgery, head and neck surgery, advanced sinus surgery, and endoscopic and robotic procedures for ear, nose, and sleep apnea, and throat cancer surgery.
• Dr Tay founded the Robotic Head and Neck Surgery Program at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and was one of the pioneers of robotic tongue base surgery for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) in the region.
• Passionate about teaching, Dr. Tay has been awarded the STAR Inspiring Surgical Teacher Award and the Most Innovative Teacher Award for Residency Education. He continues to spend time teaching Duke-NUS students as an Adjunct Assistant Professor after leaving his position as Head of Head and Neck Service at SGH ENT to start his private practice.
• Dr. Tay’s practice philosophy is to educate patients and empower them to make informed choices to manage their conditions.
