- Completed advanced surgical training in both National University Hospital and Singapore General Hospital, and obtained her fellowship diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, U.K. in 2013.
- 18-month fellowship of advanced colorectal surgery with a special focus on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) under the mentorship of Professor Phillip R Fleshner, alongside a team of ten colorectal surgeons at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, USA
- Spent time under the proctorship of Professor Hironori Yamamoto in Singapore and in Jichi, Japan, during her training years in NUH
About Dr Sharon Koh
- Dr Sharon Koh is a colorectal surgeon with a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and endoscopy management of both benign and malignant gastrointestinal tract lesions.
- Dr. Koh has published peer-reviewed papers in the Journal of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, and Annals of Surgery, and presented his research at various international conferences.
- Before entering private practice, Dr. Koh was previously the Director of Endoscopy at Alexandra Integrated Health from 2018 to 2020, where he participated in the planning and management of the endoscopy center.
- Dr Koh is currently a Senior Consultant Surgeon in Colorectal Practice, and a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Lu Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.
