About Dr Quan Wai Leong

Dr Quan Wai Leong is a gastroenterologist and interventional endoscopist, specializing in gastrointestinal conditions with routine gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
His areas of expertise include advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as ERCP, Cholangioscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS/FNA), luminal stricture dilation and placement of metallic stents, Double Balloon Enteroscopy (DBE) and various endoscopic mucosal resection techniques.
Dr. Kwan was previously Director of the Endoscopy Center and Deputy Chairman of the Surgical Care Committee at TTSH, where he established the Computerized Simulation Training Service in Endoscopy. He is currently a visiting consultant at TTSH and a peer reviewer for various gastroenterology journals.
