About
Dr LeLe Aung is a pediatrician and hematologist-oncologist with over 20 years of experience in clinical practice.
Dr LeLe Aung she received her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc., Biology) from the State University of New York, USA, and her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Mehry Medical College, USA. After completing post-graduate training in General Pediatrics Residency (1996-1999) at the University of Minnesota, USA, Dr. Ong undertook a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology (1999-2002) at the world-renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cornell Cancer Center. Medical College-New York Presbyterian Hospital, New York, USA. In addition to his American Board Certification in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Ong is accredited by the Singapore Accreditation Board in both Pediatric Medicine and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.
Since making Singapore his home in 2006, Dr. Ong has been passionate about providing holistic, evidence-based care for children with solid tumors in Singapore and the surrounding region. He has published several studies in clinical oncology, cancer, and pediatric blood and cancer journals in addition to local medical journals focusing on childhood cancer, osteosarcoma, neuroblastoma, and various childhood solid tumors in Singapore.
