About Dr Alex Ooi
- Dr. Alex is a maternal expert and gynecologist who has been in private practice for 12 years. He served on the Medical Advisory Board of Mount Elizabeth Hospital, where he was the Chairman of the Department of Processes and Gainiacology and Nursing Committee.
- He is also the chairman of the Mount Elizabeth Minimum Access (“Key-Hol”) Surgery Group, where he helped to rebuild the operating theaters and launch educational activities in this field of the surgery-a region that he actively continued as a part of him.
- Dr. OOE was a visiting professor at Fudan University in Shanghai, China, as well as ZH Sikder Women’s Medical College and Hospital in Dhaka in Bangladesh. Currently, he is serving as an instructor in the Regional MRCOG Part II exam course.
- Out of work, Dr. OOE is interested in contributing to the community. He used volunteers at the Thai Hua Quan Moraal Society Free Clinic, Methodist Welfare Society, and Hospice Care Association. He was also the president of Warren Golf and the Tanglin Club and organized charitable ceremonies for Methodist Medical Missions, Singapore Red Cross, and Thong Chai Medical Service, and was active in the Rotary Movement.
